A very small place, but it makes for conversations with new people. I took my husband for his first time trying Roake's and he said we will definitely be going back. I had the footlocker hotdog, he had the chili dog and we shared a large fry that is ment to be shared, then 2 soft drinks. They serve Coke products for the sodas.

Like burgers and hot dog? Want great food at a good price? Roakes is an institution. I never leave without feeling pleasantly stuffed and I have never left feeling like the cost was well worth it. Pro tip: split the fries.

I moved out of state years ago and was visiting. This was the first restaurant I went to. I grew up near Roakes and I'm happy it's still the same... except for the prices, lol!

Another one of my top 3 burger places. Freshly made, crisp bun, seasoned patty. Good helping of fries. They also have long hotdogs and money style dogs if you like that.

Great value. Good people. Fast service. Saw someone complaining about thie prices. The prices are actually really inexpensive for the value. Garbage McDonald's is $7.49 for a 1/4 of chemical slop. Roake's is a fantastic value, $8 for a double cheeseburger. Don't like the price, go to McDonald's and pay more for worse.

Hole in the wall has been here for ages and not much has changed - I grew up with Roakes coney island fries and roaker dogs, always a hit for some hearty comfort food. No bathroom or place to wash your hands, very tight and limited seating inside. Great staff, wait can take a bit when they are busy, but its worth it.

$7 for a deluxe burger with cheese. Definitely tasty but way too overpriced for such a simple burger. Located along a bike trail so a good pit stop when you’re hungry, the smell is enticing. I would skip the fries and drink and just get a burger if you want to keep the meal under $10.
